The NBA announced Friday that Dwyane Wade would be fined $25,000 for making a throat slash gesture versus the Celtics.
The Bulls took down the Celtics 105-99 in their season-opener Thursday night thanks to a game-clinching three by Dwyane Wade in the closing seconds of the fourth quarter, but it's what happened after the shot that has everyone talking.

Wade turned to the berserk Chicago crowd and made a throat slash gesture, a gesture which has been banned in the NBA since 1999.
It was obviously a huge moment for Wade, and his emotions got the best of him in his first game playing for his hometown. He even apologized on Twitter.
Still, the NBA fined him $25,000, and you can read the official statement below:
All in all, it's pocket change to Wade, who inked a two-year $47.5 million contract with the Bulls over the summer.
