ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted some pretty jarring news about the pending mega-trade between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics on Friday night.
Following Isaiah Thomas’ physical, the Cavaliers are reportedly “still evaluating” the point guard’s hip, which he injured late last season.
Woj tweeted that the Cavaliers could potentially void the trade if Thomas’ health was too big a question for them.
He issued an update this morning, which could calm the nerves of fans who want to see the trade completed.
Sources: Cleveland’s evaluation/conversation on status of Irving/Thomas deal has remained internal. So far, team hasn’t re-engaged Boston.

If Cleveland has not yet floated the possibility of voiding the trade to Boston, that is probably a good sign, if it is a sign at all. We’re certainly not out of the weeds yet, however. We’ll keep you updated as more comes out about Thomas’s, and this trade’s, status.
