Kyrie spoke to the media during a press conference today.
On Friday morning, the Boston Celtics held an introductory press conference for the team’s two huge offseason additions, Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward.
During the press conference, Kyrie answered a litany of questions about the tumultuous offseason, including a hectic last week before he was traded from Cleveland.
Kyrie gave a pointed answer that could have been taken as a veiled shot at the notion that LeBron James carried the Cavs.
Pointed words from Kyrie Irving: "Is there ever such a thing as one person carrying a team? I don’t think so."

The comment is clearly related to the media praising LeBron for “carrying” Cleveland to the Finals.
The Cavs made three straight NBA Finals with LeBron and Kyrie, but the two will open the season against each other on October 17 when the Cavs travel to Boston.
