Isaiah Thomas is reportedly heading to the Cleveland Cavaliers, which means he should probably to some Twitter clean-up.
Thomas, a two-time all-star with the Boston Celtics, is the centerpiece in a massive deal for Kyrie Irving, which also sends Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic, and the 2018 Brooklyn Nets first round pick to Cleveland.
We're sure Thomas is pumped about the chance to play with LeBron James, even if only for a year. However, he hasn't always been a big fan of The King.
A 2010 tweet from Thomas, who was starring at University of Washington at the time, is going viral now, moments after news of the trade broke.
It's still live as of this writing. Clearly, Thomas has bigger things to worry about than a poorly aged seven-year old tweet, but he's probably going to want to take this down sooner than later. This is far from the first time that something like this has happened, and not nearly the worst instance of it, so I highly doubt there'll be any real awkwardness stemming from it.
