Kyrie Irving Honestly Believes That The Earth Is Flat

Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving revealed in a podcast that, yes, he genuinely believes that the Earth is flat.

First things first. Earth, the planet we live on, is not flat. This is beyond dispute. We know this not only because it's easily proven from literally anywhere in a thousand different ways, but also because a bunch of astronauts have been so far up into the damn sky that they could see the Earth for themselves, which they've all noted, is not flat. You can look at some pictures of the Earth, which again, is not flat, here.

So, even with this easily accessible wealth of knowledge thanks to the wonders of the internet, it's alarming that some people believe the Earth to be flat, which it isn't, but alas, they do. Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving is one of those people.

He says it himself with alarming earnestness on a podcast hosted by teammates Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye.

“Do you think the Earth is round?” Irving says at one point. Frye and Jefferson say yes, because again, the Earth is not flat, and this is when Irving drops the hammer. “This is not even a conspiracy theory,” Kryie says. “The Earth is flat.”

All the flat-earth truthering talk begins around the 15:20 mark, but be warned, it might make your head explode.
