LeBron James Calls Out Donald Trump After Charlottesville Protests Turn Violent

LeBron James has weighed in on the protests in Charlottesville, VA, which turned tragic today, and is clearly unimpressed with President Donald Trump.

White nationalists marched through the University of Virginia campus on Friday night, and on Saturday, clashed with counter-protesters during a rally.

The protests turned violent, and there have been multiple deaths, including a woman who was hit by a car that drove into a crowd of people, and two people aboard a police helicopter that crashed near the protests.

Donald Trump has come under fire for his lukewarm condemnation of the white nationalist protest, which came hours after the rallies began from the usually quick-Twitter trigger president.

Moments ago, LeBron James joined the voices calling out Trump.

James endorsed and attended rallies in his native Ohio for Democrat Hillary Clinton during the contentious campaign.

Our thoughts go out to everyone affected by the violence that has taken place in Virginia today.
