Well, this seems like a good sign for Rose in Cleveland.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are signing former MVP Derrick Rose to a one-year contract, according to reports. It certainly looks like Kyrie Irving is indeed leaving Cleveland.
While Rose and LeBron James would have been an elite pairing five or six years ago, they are far less so now. Rose is nowhere near as talented and impactful as he was before injuries took their toll, though he did average 18.0 points per game last season with the New York Knicks.
Nevertheless, LeBron seems pumped to play with Rose. Check out the tweet he sent out after news broke that Rose was bound for The Land.
Only time will tell what kind of impact Rose will provide the Cavs.
