LeBron James Reportedly Did Not Know Cavs GM David Griffin Was Leaving

LeBron James might not be too happy with his organization.

Earlier: On Monday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers and general manager David Griffin parted ways. Griffin's contract runs out at the end of this month, and then he'll be a free agent.

It was Griffin who brought LeBron James back to Cleveland, and the two are tight. LeBron apparently wanted Griffin to get a contract extension.

So, you might imagine that he'd be a bit confused and unhappy that they reportedly moved on from Griffin without his knowledge.

According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst and Ryen Russillo, LeBron did not know that Cavs owner Dan Gilbert was prepared to part ways with Griffin.

We all know the history between Gilbert and LeBron when James left for Miami back in 2010. The current relationship between the pair seems to be a working partnership only.

It will be interesting to see if this causes friction inside the Cleveland organization.

Later: Apparently, LeBron is as unhappy as you might think he'd be.

Not good.
