These 2 Teams Are 'Strong Candidates' To Land Kyrie Irving

Could Kyrie head to one of these two teams?

The Kyrie Irving saga continues.

After new broke that the star point guard wanted out of Cleveland, the media has been in a frenzy trying to predict where the former Duke star will land.

According to the Miami Herald, two teams are front-runners to trade for Irving.

From the report:

Phoenix and Minnesota are among particularly strong candidates to pull off a trade for Irving, according to one league source.

And the in 22-year-old Andrew Wiggins (23.6 ppg last season) and 27-year-old Eric Bledsoe (21.1 points, 6.3 assists), the Wolves and Suns have the type of emerging, highly-skilled young wing players that Miami lacks.

Phoenix reportedly will not include first-round draft pick Josh Jackson in a trade for Kyrie. That limits what the Suns are able to do, but the team is still being named as a leader in the chase for Kyrie.

Minnesota already landed Jimmy Butler and Jamal Crawford in the offseason, and the addition of Kyrie could help the Wolves fight for Western Conference supremacy.
