TNT's David Aldridge: "I Guess" LeBron James Will Go To Houston
Are you ready for "The Decision" 3.0?
LeBron James turned the NBA on its head when he left Cleveland for Miami in the summer of 2010. He changed the balance of the league once again when he jetted from South Beach back home to Ohio in 2014.
Now, the NBA is preparing for King James to once again choose his next career path.
James is a free agent this summer, and there are already a few places vying to pluck him from Cleveland. If LeBron does bolt, most people think he could wind up in Los Angeles or Houston.
TNT's David Aldridge appeared on the Tony Kornheiser Show today, where he was asked about LeBron's next move. Aldridge thinks James is going to the Western Conference and joining the Rockets.
“My guess would be Houston. He’s very close with Chris Paul,” Aldridge said. “It’s a team that is showing you they can compete with Golden State.”
You can listen to Aldridge's full answer here.
If James chooses Houston, the Rockets would have a "Big 3" of him, Paul and James Harden. In Paul, LeBron would have the chance to play with another member of the famous "Banana Boat" crew.
Everyone is going to claim they know where LeBron is heading, but few, if any people actually know.
This summer will certainly be an interesting one.
