The Dallas Mavericks have been without all-world forward Luka Doncic for their first two games against the Utah Jazz. Ahead of Game 3, he offered a notable update on his status.

Speaking to the media on Thursday, Doncic had two words to describe how he's feeling following the Mavs' shootaround and training session. "Feeling great," Doncic said.

Unfortunately for the Mavs, that isn't an indication whether he'll be playing tonight. He's currently listed as questionable for tonight's game, though perhaps we'll get a new update from head coach Jason Kidd soon.

Mavs fans in the comments are feeling pretty good about their odds of having Doncic against the Jazz tonight. But ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski said that there's "significant pessimism" that he'll play:

"Mavs can win the series without him. Rest up Luka and come back 100%" one Mavs fan replied.

"Luka will be back from game 4 and 5 to close it out in Dallas," wrote another.

"It’s going to be wild when Mavs beat the Jazz and Luka still hasn’t won a single playoff series," a third fan wrote.

Luka Doncic has been one of the NBA's best players for the better part of four years. He averaged 28.4 points, 9.1 rebounds and 8.7 assists per game in the 2021-22 regular season.

But as one fan pointed out, he has yet to win a playoff series.

Will he return and help lead the Mavs to their first series win in a decade?
