Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green was a big winner of the All-NBA teams being announced on Thursday afternoon.
No, Green wasn’t named to any of the three All-NBA teams, but neither was teammate Klay Thompson. So why is that good news for Green?
Well, NBA teams are only allowed to have two max contracts on their roster – one of which Steph Curry currently occupies.
Thompson would have been eligible for a max deal if he made an All-NBA team. Now Green can fill that second slot for the Warriors if he is named to the All-NBA team or named Defensive Player of the Year in 2019-20.
But that’s not all for Green.
He also dunked on Toronto Raptors superfan Drake.
When asked how he would handle Drake if the Raptors make the NBA Finals, Green had a simple response.
“Drake can’t shoot. Nor can he pass. You ever seen Drake play basketball?…I really don’t care,” he said on Thursday.

Clearly Draymond isn’t worried about Drake as the Warriors wait to find out who their opponent will be in the NBA Finals.
Meanwhile, the Raptors and Bucks travel back to Milwaukee for tonight’s contest.
Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals tips off at 8:30 p.m. ET on TNT.
