Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green reportedly got into it with guard Klay Thompson during the 2015 season.
Draymond Green is known as an impassioned player. He loves to win and hates to lose. However, according to a report from Ethan Strauss of ESPN, Green berated his teammates in the guise of motivation.
Marreese "Mo" Speights commented on Green impact on the Warriors during the 2015-2016 season.
"Draymond f---ed up practice and s---," said the former Warriors center. "Draymond's a good guy, but I think at the end of the day, it hurt the whole chemistry of the year."
Speights went on the say that much of Draymond's verbal accosting came at the expense of shooting guard Klay Thompson.
"Draymond and Klay got into it a lot."
It's not unusual for teammates to get into verbal debates during a game or in the locker room. However, it is unusual for there to be constant unpredictable and unaccountable actions from one of your best players.
It will be interesting to see how the dynamic between Green and Thompson plays out through the 2016-2017 season.
