Last night, the 2019 NBA Draft lottery produced plenty of drama and intrigue. In the end, the ping-pong balls bounced for the New Orleans Pelicans, who hold the No. 1 overall pick.
It doesn't take a draftnik to predict that the Pelicans will take Duke's Zion Williamson. Murray State point guard Ja Morant is likely to go second to the Memphis Grizzlies, and the New York Knicks will probably choose Zion's Duke teammate RJ Barrett at No. 3, unless they package the pick for Anthony Davis.
Beyond that, there could be some chaos. You can see the full lottery order here.
ESPN's Jonathan Givony released his latest mock draft after the lottery results came out. His top five picks are below:
Texas Tech's Jarrett Culver, UNC's Coby White and Duke's Cam Reddish are next up after those five come off the board. Givony's full mock can be found here, but it is behind a pay wall.
The 2019 NBA Draft will be held Thursday, June 20 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
ESPN will broadcast the event.
