On Tuesday night, the New Orleans Pelicans landed the No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming NBA draft.
Despite entering the night with just a six-percent chance of taking home the No. 1 pick, the Pelicans slowly rose up the draft lottery board before becoming the last team standing.
With the No. 1 pick, the national consensus is that the Pelicans will select former Duke star Zion Williamson with the No. 1 pick.
Immediately after New Orleans landed the top pick, everyone made the same joke about the former Blue Devils forward.
During the 2018-19 college basketball season, fans suggested Williamson looks similar to ESPN’s Booger McFarland.
Social media had a little fun at Zion’s expense on Tuesday night – with a playful jab at his potential to gain a few pounds in a food town like New Orleans.

It’s ironic that Williamson is compared to McFarland.
The Monday Night Football analyst grew up in Louisiana and played football for the LSU Tigers.
Zion might be one of the heaviest players upon immediately entering the NBA, but he’s in incredible shape.
We’ll have to wait and see how he adjusts to professional ball, but he seems tailor made for the next level.
Stay tuned for the latest from the NBA.
