Victor Wembanyama has the NBA world in a frenzy. The No. 1 overall pick in the NBA Draft has been hyped as a generational talent, the kind of player that can turn a team into a contender immediately.

We'll have to wait until at least October to see if that's the case on the court, but he's given the San Antonio Spurs fanbase the most hope they've had for success in a number of years.

Wembanyama wore the Spurs hat on Thursday during the draft, but Saturday is the first chance that fans have had to see him in a Spurs uniform.

If the reactions on social media are any indication, fans are loving what they're seeing.

"i see a potential 4.0 blocks per game type of guy in wemby hope bro stay healthy," one fan said.

"The boy will succeed," another fan said.

"He will bulk up just like every other young player, look at Giannis or Durant or even Anthony Davis when then they first got into the league," one fan said.

Wembanyama's frame has been one of the rare concerns and criticisms he's faced throughout the draft process.

"I'm surprised you could fit him in a full vertical photo," another fans aid about the 7'5" French phenom.

Fans will be able to see Wembanyama in action when he takes part in the NBA Summer League. His first game could come against No. 2 pick Brandon Miller and the Charlotte Hornets on July 7 in Vegas.
