Watch: Fans Gave Zach Randolph Standing Ovation In First Game After Mom's Death

Memphis Grizzlies fans are some of the most passionate in the NBA and they welcomed their man Zach Randolph back in style.

Zach Randolph's mother passed away on Thanksgiving and following the tragedy the Grizzlies placed the power forward on an indefinite leave of absence. After missing seven games, Z-Bo returned to the lineup on Tuesday night against the 76ers and the Grizzlies faithful welcomed him back with a standing ovation.

Not only was it his first game back since losing his mother, but it was also his 1,000th game in the NBA. The city of Memphis absolutely loves Randolph. The former Michigan State standout is one of those first pieces that helped put the Grizzlies on the map and bring them out of the NBA's gutter when he arrived in Bluff City in 2009. Randolph ended the night with 12 points and 14 rebounds. Late in the game Randolph virtually clinched the win while grabbing a strong rebound. Following the big play, his Memphis teammates showed some serious love to the big man.

Marc Gasol, JaMychal Green and the city of Memphis are happy to have Randolph back on the court.

The Grizzlies now find themselves on a four-game winning streak. This all comes with the second highest-paid player in the NBA in Mike Conley and the recently acquired Chandler Parsons, who the team signed to a max-deal, out with injuries.
