Fergie Reveals What Happened During Last Night's National Anthem

Fergie's national anthem at the NBA's All-Star Game on Sunday night was, well, one of the worst we've ever heard. It led to some crazy-viral reactions.

The 42-year-old singer opted to sing the Star Spangled Banner in a strange tune. It was one of the oddest renditions of the song we’ve seen.

The league's All-Stars seemed to agree. A bunch of them were confused.

The best reaction, though, came from Draymond Green. Check it out:

Fergie has spoken about what happened. She talked to TMZ Sports.

"I've always been honored and proud to perform the national anthem and last night I wanted to try something special for the NBA. I'm a risk taker artistically, but clearly this rendition didn't strike the intended tone. I love this country and honestly tried my best," she said.

The full version of Fergie's national anthem can be seen below, for those who missed it. Check it out:

Worst ever? Or just one of the worst ever?

Either way, it seems like Fergie is truly sorry. Hopefully we'll get a better one in 2019.
