After 16 seasons in the NBA, Dwyane Wade has officially hung up his kicks. The 13-time NBA All-Star isn’t staying away from the basketball world though.
In an exciting addition, Wade is joining the ‘NBA on TNT’ crew. He will be a studio analyst during TNT’s Tuesday night NBA coverage.
According to New York Post, ESPN was also looking to sign Wade and add him to their NBA coverage team. But TNT’s multi-million dollar deal was too good to pass down for the former NBA great.

Wade won’t just be covering the NBA though. He’ll also have certain responsibilities during the NCAA Tournament, specifically during the Final Four.
A statement was released earlier today regarding TNT’s newest addition. Here’s an excerpt from the official release:
“Get ready for Dwyane Wade, multi-media dude. The future NBA Hall of Famer has signed a multi-year agreement with WarnerMedia that will run in over a number of areas in that company including sports, lifestyle and entertainment.”

This is a fantastic hire for TNT’s stellar crew. NBA on TNT is already filled with some of the biggest names in basketball.
Adding Wade offers another experienced player to offer his insight and perspective.
