Kevin Durant Fires Back At Britt McHenry For White House Comments

KD and Britt McHenry don't see eye-to-eye.

On Thursday, ESPN's Chris Haynes posted an interview with Kevin Durant.

While the article covered a litany of topics, the most talked about was Durant's stance on visiting the White House.

When asked if he would visit the White House as a part of Golden State's 2017 NBA Championship, Durant said no.

"Nah, I won't do that," said Durant, the 2017 NBA Finals MVP. "I don't respect who's in office right now."

On Friday, Britt McHenry took exception to Durant's decision, and tweeted out the following, although not expressly directed at Durant.

It didn't take long for Durant to fire back.

Durant is the latest in a long list of athletes who have spoken out about President Trump. McHenry's comments clearly won't impact Durant's decision to skip the White House visit.

A potential visit to the White House could happen for the Warriors when they visit the Washington Wizards in February.
