The Golden State Warriors and the rest of the NBA suffered a devastating blow on Thursday, when Klay Thompson went down with a torn ACL.
Thompson immediately grabbed his knee when he hit the hardwood. However, the All-Star guard didn’t officially leave the game until after making a pair of free throws.
While the entire sports world showed their support for Thompson on social media, Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma took an unconventional approach.
Kuzma went as far as to say the injury to Thompson is “karma” because of past injury history going in Golden State’s favor.
Back in 2017, Kawhi Leonard suffered an ankle injury against the Warriors that kept him out of the series. Although the NBA Finals is over, Thompson would have also missed significant time because of his torn ACL.
Not only did Kuzma feel the need to tweet such a controversial post, but he also never deleted it despite facing a ton of criticism.
This was karma from the spurs series when kawhi got hurt vs the warriors. Sucks to say.

Kuzma is currently the subject of trade talks between the Lakers and the Pelicans.
With the offseason ready to begin in the coming weeks, the Lakers forward could be on the move.
