Former Duke star Quinn Cook will be active for the defending world champion Golden State Warriors against the New Orleans Pelicans tonight.
Cook has bounced around the NBA after going undrafted in 2015.
He's had cups of coffee with the Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Oklahoma City Thunder franchises, and has appeared in a total of 14 games for the Dallas Mavericks and Pelicans. Now, he is a Warrior, and he will be active for tonight's game.
The Athletic's Anthony Slater broke the news this afternoon.
Cook, a fan favorite from his time at Duke, averages 5.6 points and 1.9 assists in 13.4 minutes per game during his brief NBA career. He is shooting 50-percent from the floor and 42.3-percent from three in his limited time.
The Warriors and Pelicans tip off at 9:30 p.m. ET, and will be broadcast on ESPN.
