It's been a brutal start to the 2019-20 NBA season for the Golden State Warriors. On Sunday afternoon, the defending Western Conference champions were downright embarrassed by the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Oklahoma City defeated Golden State by 28 points to earn its first win of the season.

Unfortunately for Steve Kerr, the Warriors are 0-2 with both losses occurring in blowout fashion.

Following the game, Kerr couldn't help but crack a joke about the team's performance. He said "I’m looking forward to the Modelo that’s waiting in my locker."

Honestly, Kerr might need a drink after watching his team get decimated by the Thunder this weekend.

At the very least it's good to see that he remains upbeat despite the Warriors' struggles to start the season.

This season could be tough for the Warriors since they're running out of firepower. There aren't too many playmakers on the team outside of Steph Curry, Draymond Green and D'Angelo Russell.

While the loss of Kevin Durant in free agency obviously hurts the team's outlook, not having Klay Thompson at all this season is just as important.

Fortunately for Golden State, it has a nice little homestand coming up this week. But first, the Warriors must face the New Orleans Pelicans on the road tomorrow night.
