The 2019-20 basketball season hasn’t been kind to several coaching legends. Notre Dame women’s basketball coach Muffet McGraw recently posted a photo with North Carolina head coach Roy Williams.
After highly successful 2018-19 seasons, both Notre Dame and North Carolina are suffering through down seasons. McGraw attempted to put a comedic spin on the two team’s struggles in her latest post on Twitter.
“Support group meeting of former champions on handling the adversity of this season. Yo, Steve Kerr, we are holding a spot for you,” she said in the caption of a photo with Williams. It didn’t take long for Kerr to respond.
“I’m fine, Muffet. What are you talking about?” Kerr said with a gif of a person launching himself off of a sand dune.
Check it out.

All three teams, Notre Dame, North Carolina and the Golden State Warriors have suffered through the 2019-20 season.
The Fighting Irish sit at 10-16 so far this season, just one season removed from falling to Baylor in the national title game. Meanwhile, the Tar Heels sit last in the ACC and won’t play in the NCAA Tournament.
At the NBA level, the Warriors boast the worst record in the league. With Steph Curry and Klay Thompson sideline due to injury, the Warriors are in line for the No. 1 overall pick in 2020.
