Steph Curry is close to returning from an injury that's sidelined him for the majority of this season. But the Warriors have announced another delay for Curry's anticipated return to the court.
The two-time NBA MVP suffered a broken hand early on this season, causing him to miss every game since Oct. 30. To no surprise, Golden State has struggled mightily without the lethal three-point shooter.
Curry has been working his way back from the injury for several months now, targeting Mar. 1 as his return game. The Warriors guard is making good progress, but Curry will not be playing on his hopeful target date.
Golden State announced on Saturday that Curry won't be playing on Sunday, but he remains "on-schedule for a return to play at some point in March." The Warriors' full update on Curry can be found below:
Warriors fans will have to wait a bit longer to see Curry's return to the lineup.
Of course, there's still a possibility Golden State opts to shut down Curry for the rest of season, seeing as there's little reason to play him. But as of right now, all signs point to Curry's return coming at some point in March.
The Warriors have 23 regular-season games remaining this season.
