The Warriors started off their 2016-17 campaign with a loss.

Golden State dropped its first game of the 2016-17 season - a preseason game, of course - on Saturday night, falling on the road to Toronto, 97-93.

The loss was not without a great highlight play from last year's NBA runner-ups, though.

Warriors' star Steph Curry threw this sick alley-oop pass to Andre Iguodala late in the first half.

Here's how the Warriors stars played over the course of the game:

  • Curry - 8 points (on 2 of 6 shooting), 3 assists, 2 rebounds, 2 steals in 17 minutes
  • Durant - 9 points (on 2 of 9 shooting), 1 assist, 2 rebounds, 2 steals in 19 minutes
  • Green - 2 points, 1 assist, 2 rebounds, 2 steals in 17 minutes
  • Thompson - 16 points (on 4 of 11 shooting), 1 steal in 19 minutes of play

Here's what Warriors' head coach Steve Kerr and Green said following the loss to the Raptors.

Golden State next faces Los Angeles (Clippers) on Tuesday at 10:30 p.m. E.T. The game will be televised on ESPN.

The Warriors open their 2016-17 regular season on Tuesday, Oct. 25 against the San Antonio Spurs. That game will be televised on TNT and tip-off at 10:30 p.m. E.T.
