The star free agent is heading to Boston.
A top NBA player is moving from the West to the East. Finally.
All-Star free agent Gordon Hayward has reportedly made his decision. He's signing with Boston.
ESPN's Chris Haynes reports that Hayward has opted to sign with the Celtics over the Heat and the Jazz.
Hayward took three meetings over the course of the weekend, visiting Miami on Saturday, Boston on Sunday and with Utah on Monday.
He's a huge addition to a Boston team in need of an All-Star caliber wing to play with Isaiah Thomas and Al Horford.
Hayward played in college for Celtics' coach Brad Stevens.
UPDATE: Hayward's agent is now saying that his client hasn't made a decision yet.
