Indiana Pacers G Paul George Addresses Trade Rumors

Will Paul George remain a Pacer?

Paul George didn't make an All-NBA team this year. That may not sound like a big deal, but the moment the All-NBA teams were announced, the trade rumors began.

George not making an All-NBA team meant this: the Pacers would not be able to give him a designated player super-max contract extension this summer.

We'll likely enter the NBA season with Paul George as a Pacer, but what about at the trade deadline?

Will he still be on the team?

According to him, the answer is yes. He addressed trade rumors with Nate Taylor, of Indy Star, and had the following to say.

It looks like George isn't going anywhere, no matter what the rumors are. Now, George can easily leave at the end of the 2017-18 season as he has a player option for the 2018-19 season, or hope that he makes an All-NBA team in order to sign a max-deal with the Pacers.
