While the city of Los Angeles is preparing to embrace Anthony Davis, Josh Hart, one of the Lakers players who was traded for him, is already embracing the city of New Orleans.

Taking to Twitter on Sunday afternoon, Hart quickly updated his Twitter profile to show himself in a Pelicans uniform. He then tweeted out if anyone could tell him of any good spots in New Orleans to get Beignets.

Pelicans fans were delighted to see him embracing their city so quickly, and immediately made his post go viral. In less than two hours since posting the message, it got over 27,000 likes, and 3,300 retweets.

Hart was traded along with Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, and multiple first-round draft picks to the Pelicans for Anthony Davis.

Though Lonzo Ball's father, LaVar Ball, hasn't appeared all too thrilled about the idea of his son moving to the Pelicans, it certainly seems that Hart is taking the move in stride.

He does have a lot to look forward to, after all. In addition to playing alongside his Lakers teammates, Hart will in all likelihood be joined by Duke megastar Zion Williamson after the NBA Draft this week.

Things are looking up for the Pelicans, and Hart appears more than happy to be a part of it.
