Golden State Warriors megastar Kevin Durant has contributed mightily to the team becoming a dynasty. But with the team on pace to win another NBA title after having previously won one without Durant, people are starting to question what Durant's legacy with the Warriors will be.

Among the people believing that Durant's legacy is already diminishing is FOX Sports host Chris Broussard. On Monday, Broussard stated Durant's "worst nightmare is coming true" as players believe that there should be an asterisk on the two NBA championship he's won.

Durant took to Twitter to respond to Broussard, mocking him for exaggerating the situation.

"I see a little exaggeration there buddy, my worst nightmare?? U sure that this is the worst that it can get???"

But Durant's Twitter backtalk wasn't reserved for on-air personalities. He Tweeted back at another Twitter user who accused him of being "sensitive."

Durant was widely criticized for joining the Warriors back in 2016 after failing to beat them as a member of a Oklahoma City Thunder.

His addition to the Warriors allowed them to easily swat down most of the NBA teams for two straight seasons en route to back-to-back NBA titles, with a third in sight as of writing.

The two-time NBA Finals MVP has been criticized in the past for his attitude when talking to the media.

But when healthy, he's arguably the best player in the league, yet the Warriors don't seem to be missing a beat without him.

It's a fascinating situation.
