Hours before the NBA unveils its draft lottery on Tuesday night, several potential trade options are circulating through the NBA world.
According to a report from NBA insider Shams Charania of Stadium and the Athletic, the New York Knicks are already working on a potential trade – assuming the team lands the No. 1 overall pick.
Shams revealed the Knicks would package star rookie Kevin Knox and Zion Williamson to the New Orleans Pelicans for Anthony Davis.
All of this hinges on the Knicks landing the No. 1 pick, of course.
If New York lands the No. 1 pick and trade for Anthony Davis, the six-time All-Star would reportedly consider signing a long-term deal with the team.
If he’s traded there, Pelicans star Anthony Davis would consider re-signing with the Knicks if he felt he could win there, per SNY sources. More here: https://t.co/n3uRhg3KaA

Davis made it known during the 2018-19 season he wants to be traded by the Pelicans. According to multiple reports, Davis gave the Pelicans a list of teams he wanted to be traded to.
The Knicks made the list and now seem like a viable landing spot for the former Kentucky star.
Fans of the Knicks have been clamoring for Zion Williamson since he made his debut with Duke. If the team lands the No. 1 overall pick and uses it as trade bait, fans might not be happy.
However, landing Anthony Davis could cure their ails.
