Kobe Bryant's widow, Vanessa Bryant, has shown incredible fortitude getting through the loss of her husband and her daughter, Gianna. But on Valentine's Day, she reminded everyone just how much she loves and misses them with heartfelt and heartbreaking message.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, Vanessa Bryant posted a photo of her and Kobe overlaid with a song from Lauryn Hill. She dedicated the message to her "forever Valentine" and her daughter.
"To my forever Valentine, I love you so much," she wrote. "Missing you so much on your favorite holiday. Te amo per sempre. Kisses to you and Gigi in heaven. Happy Valentine’s Day, my babies. With all my love, your boo-boo. song: Tell Him @mslaurynhill"
In just two days, the post has garnered a whopping 11 million views and over 82,000 comments.
Vanessa Bryant's incredible message also garnered support from such celebrities as Lisa Leslie, La La Anthony, and Khloe Kardashian, who all left messages in support of her.
Kobe and Gianna were two of nine victims in a tragic helicopter crash last month.
Their passing led to an outpour of support from across the world, crossing the boundaries of sports into all walks of life.
Tonight's NBA All-Star game will feature the East and West teams paying tribute to Kobe and Gianna with No. 24 and No. 2 jerseys respectively.
