Kyrie Irving’s latest Instagram activity has fueled some free agency speculation and prompted some optimism from Boston Celtics fans.
The All-NBA point guard, who is set to hit free agency this summer and has been linked to several teams, showed off some new Nike shoes on his Instagram Story.
Irving said that Larry Bird told him to “Be True” while revealing the Nike Kyrie 5s.
The Celtics point guard also wrote “Be True” in green (Celtics green?) font.
Of course, Boston fans are now speculating that it could mean something.

Yes, it’s a reach, but everything regarding NBA free agency is a reach right now. No one, outside of the players themselves, knows what is going to happen. And even the players are probably undecided right now.
Irving has been linked to the Lakers, Nets and Knicks, among other franchises, with some believing that a reunion with LeBron James is possible.
NBA free agency is set to begin on the evening of June 30.
