On Thursday night the Boston Celtics hosted the Los Angeles Lakers in a matchup of powerhouse organizations.
With LeBron James and company in the building, the stars showed up to watch the NBA’s best go at it.
Several players from the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots were in attendance as was head coach Bill Belichick.
However, instead of letting the Celtics come away with a win in front of their home crowd, the Lakers sent Boston fans home unhappy as Rajon Rondo drilled a last-second shot to give Los Angeles a key victory.
The former Boston Celtics star got a shot off with under a second left in the game and sank it, giving the Lakers a 129-128 win.

Boston built a healthy lead in the first half, leading by as many as 18 points. However, the Lakers cut that deficit to just nine by halftime and used a strong second half to come out with the win.
Los Angeles set a franchise record from beyond the arc and LeBron James led all scorers with 28 points to lead his team to victory.
Despite a poor night from the charity stripe (just 7-of-18) the Lakers drained 22 three-pointers to upset the Celtics before a huge matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers.
