LeBron James Rips Into Charles Barkley, Calls Him A 'Hater'

LeBron James rips into Charles Barkley.

After years of criticism from Charles Barkley, LeBron James finally went off on the former NBA player following a tough loss to the Mavs.

LeBron James has officially had enough of Charles Barkley. After a stunning loss to the Mavericks on Monday night, James went off on the analyst and former NBA player.

"He's a hater," James told ESPN's Dave McMenamin. "What makes what he says credible? Because he's on TV?"

Barkley most recently called James' behavior "inappropriate" and "whiny" on Inside the NBA after James publicly asked the Cavs' front office for another playmaker.

James continued:

"I'm not going to let him disrespect my legacy like that," James told ESPN. "I'm not the one who threw somebody through a window. I never spit on a kid. I never had unpaid debt in Las Vegas. I never said, 'I'm not a role model.' I never showed up to All-Star Weekend on Sunday because I was in Vegas all weekend partying.

"All I've done for my entire career is represent the NBA the right way. Fourteen years, never got in trouble. Respected the game. Print that."

Barkley has repeatedly thrown slights towards James, suggesting over the summer to HBO's Bill Simmons that James would "never" ascend into the ranks of NBA legends such as Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabar, Oscar Robertson and Wilt Chamberlain.

James is a 4-time NBA MVP, 3-time NBA champion and 3-time NBA Finals MVP.
