LeBron James Getting Crushed For His New Trademark Request

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is back in the news. We've all seen the videos he puts out yelling "Taco Tuesday" with his family, but now he's taking his love of tacos to the next step.

The NBA star reportedly filed a patent to own "Taco Tuesday."

Business insider Darren Rovell revealed James wants to trademark the phrase for social media posts. Oh, and he also wants create a "Taco Tuesday" show.

"LeBron James leaves no potential business opportunity on the table. Over time, he has sought to own “Taco Tuesday.” He has now filed to trademark the phrase for social media posts and a show of that name," Rovell reported on Saturday morning.

Some on social media aren't happy with the King's latest foray into the business world.

Trademarking "Taco Tuesday" won't be easy. Restaurants around the country use that phrase to peddle tacos every Tuesday. It's on every chalk board sitting outside of restaurants and social media posts.
