A new LeBron James commercial is debuting tonight.
LeBron James and Nike are releasing a new commercial titled, “Here I Am” that will debut during tonight’s TNT broadcast of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ game against the New York Knicks.
Here’s Nike’s description of the commercial:
Your circumstances don’t determine your outcome. Come out of Nowhere like LeBron James.
For those who are strong enough to believe, strong enough to pick themselves up off the ground, strong enough to do what the doubters say can’t be done…
You’re not supposed to be here… and yet here you are.

Nike released this commercial prior to James’ first game back with the Cavs.
James signed a lifetime deal with Nike last December, of which he said:
“I’m very humble, man,” James said. “It’s been an unbelievable time for myself and my family, and I’m just grateful that Nike and [Nike founder] Phil Knight and everyone over there just believed in a skinny-old, skinny 18-year-old kid from Akron, Ohio, and I’m happy to be a part of such a great company.”
James’ biggest competition in the shoe game, at the moment, is also his biggest competition on the court.
Steph Curry and Under Armour are trying to grasp a bigger piece of the basketball shoes pie. This commercial came out on Monday.
ESPN said this of Curry and Under Armour:
Now that Curry has helped build an annual $200 million business, the pressure is on. One out of every four dollars Under Armour makes comes from shoes, and expectations are high for another great year. The money in Curry’s deal rose this year, which likely makes him the fourth-highest earner in the shoe business behind Michael Jordan, James and Durant. Curry will make more from Under Armour this year than he will from the Warriors ($12.1 million). With more money to be paid out, Under Armour is testing how much consumers are willing to pay.
The Cavs and the Warriors first play on Christmas.
