LiAngelo Ball, the middle brother of the Ball family, thinks he's an NBA player. His father, LaVar, also thinks so.
NBA draft experts disagree. The former UCLA forward, who left the school to play in Lithuania, is not considered to be an NBA Draft prospect.
According to multiple reports from around the league, no one expects the younger brother of Lakers guard Lonzo Ball to be drafted. In fact, Vegas has set heavy odds against LiAngelo getting drafted.
Here's what draft experts have said about LiAngelo's draft status.
Per Bleacher Report: There's no real reason for an NBA team to take a chance on LiAngelo Ball.
Per Yahoo: And no, in case you’re wondering, LiAngelo Ball will not get drafted.
The only buzz surrounding LiAngelo's pre-draft process was a commercial he shot for Foot Locker. The commercial poked fun at his incident during his time at UCLA.
You can watch it here.
So in short, there's no real chance for LiAngelo to get drafted tonight unless a team takes a shot on him late in the second round. It's likely LiAngelo signs with a G-League team and attempts to work his way into the NBA.
The draft kicks off tonight at 7 p.m. ET. Stay tuned.
