Report: Clippers Employees Wore Absolute Ridiculous T-Shirt Comparing Blake Griffin To MLK, Lincoln, Others

Blake Griffin is a very good basketball player. To his Los Angeles Clippers, however, he is a "pioneer" comparable to historical figures like Martin Luther King Jr. and Mahatma Gandhi, apparently.

If that sounds absolutely ridiculous, it definitely should.

However, that is the exact imagery that the Clippers put out there with shirts that employees reportedly wore after a meeting with star Blake Griffin.

Griffin agreed to a new five-year, $173 million deal on Friday night.

Today, The Undefeated's Marc J. Spears tweeted a picture of the ridiculous shirt, which also features Muhammad Ali, Albert Einstein, John F. Kennedy, Abraham Lincoln, Nelson Mandela, and Barack Obama, referring to the group as "pioneers."

There isn't much more to say here. The shirt is absolutely ridiculous. I'm just fascinated to hear how someone thought this was a good idea. Unfortunately, that's a story we'll probably never hear.
