Doc Rivers Responds To Rumors Surrounding Chris Paul's Exit From Clippers

Doc wasn't happy with the rumors.

On Wednesday, the Los Angeles Clippers and Houston Rockets completed a blockbuster trade which sent Chris Paul to Houston, and seven players, plus a draft pick and some cash, to L.A.

Along with the trade came rumors that Chris Paul left the Clippers to get away from a souring relationship with Doc Rivers.

Paul and Rivers' relationship, according to ESPN's Michael Eaves, had been deteriorating since the Clippers acquired Austin Rivers.

Chris Paul reportedly left because of the frayed relationship, but Rivers refuses to believe that is the case.

The trade significantly increased Houston's chances of making it through the Western Conference, but there's still one major problem: the Golden State Warriors.
