The Clippers backup was arrested on Sunday.
Former Saint Louis star Willie Reed was arrested early Sunday morning.
Reed played for the Brooklyn Nets, Miami Heat, and now the Los Angeles Clippers after going undrafted in the 2011 NBA Draft.
According to a report from the Miami Herald, Reed was jailed Sunday on a domestic violence charge and was still in jail hours later.
From the report:
Miami-Dade jail records show Reed, 27, who signed with the Los Angeles Clippers last month, was still in jail as on 7:30 a.m. He was charged with misdemeanor battery.
Details about the alleged crime were not immediately available. He was arrested in downtown Miami at the Marquis condo, 1100 Biscayne Blvd.
Reed is being held on $1,500 bond. He signed for the veteran minimum with the Los Angeles Clippers after his successful stint with the Miami Heat as Hassan Whiteside's backup.
