Report: Los Angeles Clippers Close To Signing European Star Milos Teodosic

The Los Angeles Clippers could be adding a European star to their roster.

Coveted Serbian point guard Milos Teodosic is negotiating a potential contract with the Los Angeles Clippers, according to Eurohoops.net.

The 30-year-old Teodosic, who plays for CSKA Moscow of the VTB United League and the EuroLeague, is in talks on a three-year, $24-million pact, per Eurohoops. The Chicago Bulls and Minnesota Timberwolves have also expressed interest in Teodosic.

The Clippers need additional depth in the backcourt after trading away Chris Paul. The team's point guards are currently Patrick Beverley, Austin Rivers and rookie Jawun Evans.

Teodosic averaged 16.8 points, 6.8 assists and 2.1 rebounds per game in the EuroLeague this past season. He scored nine points and dished out three assists for Serbia in a 96-66 loss to the USA in the gold medal game at the 2016 Summer Olympics.

The Clippers are also set to meet with free agent point guard Derrick Rose, which reportedly will factor into Teodosic's decision.
