LeBron James finally made his regular season debut for the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night. He performed about how you might have expected.

A 37-minute stint on the court resulted in 26 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists for LeBron. A solid night, but really a dominating performance.

Ultimately, the Lakers just couldn't keep up with Damian Lillard's Portland Trail Blazers.

Portland won the game 128-119.

Josh Hart finished second in scoring for the Lakers with 20 points off the bench. Rajon Rondo had a double-double with 13 points and 11 assists.

The game was fairly close at the end of the first three quarters, but the Trail Blazers managed to pull away in the fourth.

The 0-1 Lakers will travel to Houston on Saturday night for a showdown with the Rockets.
