Is it a just comparison for an NBA point guard?
The Los Angeles Lakers drafted former UCLA point guard Lonzo Ball with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.
We all know his father, LaVar Ball, has heaped praise and hype on his boy, but it was two Lakers' leadership members who might have hyped Lonzo up even more than his father could.
Earvin "Magic" Johnson said he expects to see Lonzo's jersey hanging in the rafters of the Lakers' building.
Then Lakers' GM Rob Pelinka used an interesting comparison to describe Lonzo's game. He compared Lonzo to Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers.
Now, we're accustomed to seeing players compared to others in their respective sport, but to compare Lonzo's vision on the court to two of the best NFL quarterbacks of all-time is a stretch.
