The Los Angeles Lakers appear to have gotten good news on LeBron James. James will be returning to the court soon, it seems.

According to a new release from the team, James was reevaluated today. He won't play on the team's upcoming two-game road trip, but has been cleared to return to practice starting next week.

The Lakers are set to visit the Oklahoma City Thunder and Houston Rockets this weekend. Both games are on national television.

They return home to play the Golden State Warriors in another nationally-televised game on Monday.

James has missed the last 11 games with a groin injury. The Lakers have slumped in his absence, going 4-7.

Los Angeles currently owns a 24-21 record and the eighth spot in the Western Conference playoffs.

In his first season in purple and gold, LeBron is averaging 27.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game.
