LaVar Ball has been roaring all over television and radio the last few days. As his son Lonzo was on the trading block, LaVar was taking a blowtorch to the Los Angeles Lakers’ organization.
Well, the trade deadline has come and gone, and Lonzo is still wearing purple and gold. Before that happened though, LaVar went on FS1 and shared why he didn’t want his son included in a trade to New Orleans.
The reason was weather-related, surprisingly. LaVar wants Lonzo in Phoenix playing for the Suns, eventually alongside his two brothers.
“My boys don’t like living in the cold,” he said.
"I'm thinking of Phoenix like this: If you get Lonzo, get Gelo, get Melo … I'm trying to build a dynasty. They can't do nothing but go up, but they got to listen and go play our way. My boys are winners, man. The Lakers turned them into losers." — @Lavarbigballer pic.twitter.com/Mw5iEGVsev

Look, Phoenix gets very warm, but New Orleans isn’t exactly Antarctica. It’s not even close to Cleveland, which is where LaVar is now and what he makes reference to in the video above.
Maybe one day, LaVar will finally stop saying nonsense on television.
We wouldn’t hold our breath waiting for it though.
