From time to time, LeBron James is known to recognize people for going viral on Twitter.
This week, a video of longtime Minnesota Vikings play-by-play announcer Paul Allen has been making the social media rounds. It shows a fired up Allen calling the end of the Bills-Vikings on Sunday.
LeBron is one of the thousands (millions?) of people who watched the clip, and he shouted out Allen on his Twitter account.
"WOW!!! Paul Allen is a national treasure!!!" James wrote.
Allen, 56, has been the voice of the Vikings on the radio for more than two decades.
During that time, he's called the good--the "Minneapolis Miracle," last week's game--and the bad--the 2003 end of season collapse and the 2009 NFC Championship Game loss.
There's been way more of the former than the latter to broadcast this season. Minnesota is currently 8-1 and vying for the No. 1 seed in the NFC.
