Gregg Popovich made history on Friday night, becoming the all-time winningest coach in NBA history. The leader of the San Antonio Spurs now has 1,336 wins on his résumé.

A few hours after the Spurs' win, Lakers star LeBron James posted a message on Twitter for Popovich. Of course, these two legends have a lot of respect for each other.

"Coach POP!!!!!!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! #1 ALL TIME WINS,"

James had himself quite a night as well. He had a 50-point game for the second time in six days. That's a remarkable accomplishment for a 37-year-old athlete.

As for Popovich, he's certainly appreciative of all the positive messages he's received this weekend. He spoke about this milestone during his postgame press conference.

"It's just a testament to a whole lot of people," Popovich said, via ESPN. "Something like this does not belong to one individual. Basketball's a team sport. You preach to your players that they have to do it together and that's certainly been the case in my life with all the wonderful players and coaches, the staff that I've been blessed with, the support of this wonderful city. The fans support us no matter what. All of us share in this record. It's not mine. It's ours, here in the city."

Congrats to Popovich on this amazing accomplishment.
