Ahead of the NBA All-Star break, LeBron James is getting ready to enjoy a well-deserved break from the No. 1 team in the Western Conference. But he wasn’t about to head into his break without an impassioned message to his Lakers teammates.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, LeBron praised his team for their efforts in last time’s overtime win over Denver. The Lakers topped the Nuggets 120-116, with LeBron recording a triple-double in the process.
“Helluva win last night fellas!!” he wrote. “Perfect way to go into the break on a high note! Miss you boys already!”

With the help of Anthony Davis and Kyle Kuzma in taking the load off, LeBron has thrived in his second year with the Lakers. He’s currently leading the league with a career-high 10.8 assists per game.
LeBron has never averaged a double-double in his storied career.
And to top it all off, he’s dominating for the Lakers while averaging the fewest minutes per game of his career.
LeBron and the Lakers are currently 41-12. They’re three games ahead of Denver for the No. 1 seed in the West, and four games ahead of the Clippers in the Pacific Division.
Suffice it to say, the Lakers star has a lot to be happy about, and he’s making sure his teammates know it.
