The Los Angeles Lakers will be without LeBron James for a second-straight game on Thursday.

James has been ruled out for that game against the Utah Jazz after he missed Tuesday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. Anthony Davis is also listed as doubtful for Thursday's game after missing Tuesday's contest.

James has dealing with a left ankle sprain since Sunday, while Davis hasn't played in over a month. The Lakers are now 31-44 and 11th in the Western Conference. That means if the play-in tournament started today, the Lakers wouldn't be in it and their season would be over. The NBA world isn't high on the Lakers going into this contest.

The Lakers have just seven games left to play their way into the play-in tournament.

Tip-off for Thursday's game against Utah will be at 10 p.m. ET.
